Michelle Barone taught 3rd and 5th grades for 17
years and now is an assistant prinicipal in an urban
middle school. She is also a children's writer. Her first
historical fiction novel for middle grade readers, "Out
Of The Ordinary" went into a third printing during its
first year. Her picture books have been published by
